Welcome to Holding Space Support Group
for newly bereaved parents who have
lost a child to suicide

Thank you for waiting as we took a break to allow all the new families to connect in a deeper level.

We have created a new space for parents who have lost a child to suicide and are within their first year after the death of their child. This new world you have entered is filled with so much pain.  The idea is to support you in the very early period after your loss.  I will do a check in and connect with you when you sign up to be placed on the waitlist.

Here is what to expect:

Meetings will be held virtually. This is a closed support group, meaning that we will have the same parents for all of the 6 meeting sessions.  This group is tailored to enable connection, share from our hearts, and gain insights into your grief.  We will discuss self care, introduce tools to manage how grief impacts the body and mind.  We will share from our own experience and hold the space for others to be witnessed and validated.

Please note that this group is for biological and adoptive parents only.

If you are struggling and are having suicidal thoughts, please dial 988. If you need other types of support, please click here for Suicide Loss Support Groups & Resources.

Holding Space 2nd session is starting on Tuesday October 29, 2024, from 6-7:30pm (EST).  If you wish to be added to the waitlist, please fill out the registration form by clicking on the button below.
