Finding the Words

Have you ever been in situations where people ask you questions and you do not know what to say? For example, the "How are you?" can become a heavy question when you are at the beginning of your grief journey. Or how about when someone says something that feels insensitive like, "That was so long ago." In this workshop we will make cards that you can fit into an Altoids-size container. The cards will have answers that you will create to serve as answers to these questions. This will give you a small and light way of carrying your messages with you everywhere you go. These can be helpful to have in any social situation.

An alternative use of these cards can be messaging to yourself on reminders of how to care for yourself, perhaps messages of affirmations, quotes that you find helpful, poems, or centering exercises.  You will chose what makes more sense for you.
