This project began as a way to do something with some of the photos I had of Frankie. I printed images of her in the form of photographic slides, put them in slide holders, taped the slide holders together, and placed a battery-operated candle in the middle to light them from behind. The result is a candle holder that fits in the palm of your hand with each side holding an image of your loved one.

In these free workshops, you will make your own “lighting the way” cube. For some people, looking at images of their loved ones can be difficult. But, the process of constructing these cubes allows people to share memories. Doing so can help  you find new memories on this side of loss.

This is a single session, 2-3 hour workshop. Donations for supplies accepted.
